2011 Highlights
At Chestnut Goldens 2011 has been all about Spice and Brady's kids with a few nice spinkle from Tucker & Belle's kids
January 14 "Oliver"
Chestnut All The World's A Stage, makes his debut in the ring at the Kennel Club of Buffalo by winning Best in Specialty Sweepstakes under breeder judge, Jennifer Craig. In competion later in the day he wins his 6-9 month old puppy class under judge, Howard Falberg . Oliver is owned by Mary Beth & Katie.
"Shiraz"
wins Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty Sweepstakes. Shiraz is owned by Virginia Patten and co-owned by Mary Beth.
January 15 "Brandi"
At the KC of Buffalo show, on her debut weekend as a Champion, takes the first points towards her Grand Championship under judge, Gloria Geringer.
January 16 "Brandi"
At the Ashtabula KC walks away with award, Best of Opposite Sex (BOS).
What a weekend for Oliver, Shiraz and their big sister Brandi. It looks like 2011 is off to a great start!!
April 1 "Tori"
At the Norfolk Kennel Club shows, finishes up her Canadian Championship in grand style by taking the Best of Breed and going on to win a Sporting Group 4 under Alan Ewles.
May 21 "Brandi"
After a few months off from the showing, she steps in the ring and is awarded Best of Opposite to the Best of breed under James White
June 16-19 "Brandi"
At Dunkirk, NY shows, under Ann Hearn, is awarded Best of Opposite Sex.

Under Helen Lee James walks away with a Best of Opposite Sex award
Picks up the "Hat Trick" under Melvin Beech and receives her third Best of Opposite ribbon of the weekend
July 9-10 "Brandi"
At the Hamlin, NY picks up two Best of Opposite Sex wins under Judges Stephen & Christina Hubbell
To date "Brandi" has been awarded 10 pts toward her AKC Grand Champion title. She continues to be exclusively shown by Kelly Militello
July 6 "Oliver" at his first show since January wins the
12-18 month class at the Canadian Golden Retriever Regional Specialty under Sue Peterman
In showing limited the Western New york area Brandi continues to be awarded Best of Opposite Sex and Best of Breed wins. Her most recent wins along with

Chestnut As Dreams Are Made Of is recognized by the American Kennel Club (AKC) as a Canine Good Citizen

January 15 "Bailey"
Ch Chestnut Tangleloft Fooled Ya won Best Veteran in Sweepstakes at the Golden Retriever Club of WNY Specialty under judge Ms Susan Griffith
January 16 "Brandi",
Chestnut and Everything Nice, at 8 months old made her show debut by taking a Group TWO at the KC of Buffalo shows under judge, Mr Terry Stacy. Brandi was awarded 2 points while expertly handled by co owner Kelly Militello.

Febuary 7 "Brandi"
Handled by Joann Griffith, takes the Winner's ribbon home from Woodstock, Ontario for 2 points
March 14 "Brandi"
With Joann holding on to the lead, takes Best of Winners for 5 points from the 9-12 senior puppy class and Best Puppy in Breed. The judge today was Jim Reynolds. The show was the Canadian Purina National. WOW!!
June 19 "Tory"
Chestnut Gray Valley's Victory and her best friend, Della Biot receive the first Reserve Winner's ribbon from Skip Stanbridge @ the Monarch Kennel Club. Tory is a Tucker and Belle daughter owned by Della and Mary Beth Konesky.
June 26 "Tory"
Picks up a Sporting Puppy Gr 1@ Hamilton Kennel Club under judge, Sandra Anderson.
July 2 "Titan"
Amberview's Mystery Train, a Tucker son finishes his Canadian Championship. Titan is owned by Candace Gaudreau and Colleen Skelton and is the first of Tucker's kids to be titled!!! YAHOO!!!
July 5 "Jesse"
Meliagold Mystery She Wrote completes her Canadian Championship. Jesse is a Tucker daughter and owned by Lynn Mc Gregor.
July 10 "Brandi"
and Kelly pick up Best of Winners and Best of Opposite Sex at the KC of Buffalo shows in Hamlin, NY. This win give Brandi another point toward her American Championship
July 31 "Tory"
picks up her second Reserve Winner's ribbon
from Francois Bernier at the Barrie shows
September 3 "Brandi"
takes her first major under Arley Hussin at the Golden Retriever Club of Western NY Independent Specialty
October 7 "Brandi"
travels to New Jersey to compete at the Morris & Eseex dog show. This show is held only every 5 years. Our little golden girl walks away with Reserve Winners.
Dec 18, 19 "Brandi"
and Kelly make the trip to Cleveland, Ohio for the "The Classic". Under judge Clay Coady, the pair walks away with the Winner's ribbon and a 4 pt major. The very next day, under Bonnie Linnell Clark, the two did it again, taking Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners for another 4 pt major. In addition to the Best of Winners ribbon, Kelly picks up the "New Champion" rosette. 2010 started with a Group 2 for Brandi and finished up with both her American and Canadian Championship.

Chestnut Spirit of Wine owned by Virginia Patten and Mary Beth makes her show debut at the Elora Gorge Kennel Club and wins Best Puppy in Sporting Group under Warner Cespedes Arias

2008 Show Highlights
January 12th Tucker and Katie picks up his first major under breeder judge, Jan Provenzano
March 29th Tucker and Katie win a very large Open Dog class at CNYGR Specialty. They finished the day awarded with "Reserve Winner's Dog"
August 29th Tucker and Joann Griffith pick up a four point major and Tucker
is awarded his American Championship
under Breeder judge, Ainsle Mills from British Columbia, Canada. This win is a huge honor. What a thrill to finish his Championship at a Specialty!
