Welcome to Chilcotin Standard Smooth Dachshunds section.

Chilcotin Standard Smooth Dachshunds was established in 1968 by Roy and Rose Singleton.
Upon their passing, the Kennel name was left to me to continue on. Since 1986, I have been
involved in this wonderful breed. We breed very selectively and may have a litter every one to
two years.
Currently Chilcotin houses six Standard Smooths. Two reside with myself, and four with my
Sister, Alana Smith.
We hold many records for this breed with Best in Show awards, points allocated, and puppy
wins.
Although most of our dogs on these pages have now crossed over to the Rainbow Bridge, we
still feel that their achievements are worthy of mentioning.
Chilcotin was honored to be chosen as the Pedigree Breeder of the Year for 1993 and 2000,
with the winnings our litters achieved.
