These are burnings I have done on paper. Yes you CAN burn on paper. I used paper that is usually used for watercolors, it is heavier and very hard to do but it is quite a challenge.

Burning on paper is fun, and HARD to do ! You have to be very careful NOT to burn a hole thru the paper. The best paper I have worked with so far is the kind you use for watercolors and chalk drawings.
