Achievements:
Mia won the State Bred bitch class yet again at the Tas GRC Show under breed specialist Beryl Liggins on Sun 2nd Nov 2008. Her daughter Goldlake Summer Breeze won the BCC and Runner Up Best in Show.Here is Mia's critique:
"Quality bitch of lovely type, feminine head with soft expression. Excels in neck and front angulation, straight front, Very well balanced with well ribbed body, level topline, and good rear angulation giving positive movement."
Mia is owned in partnership with Jan and Peter Grierson and their daughters Lisa and Andrea. She is 2 1/2 years old in the above photo.
Mia finished her title to become Aust Champ Kaparla Such is Life on Sat 28th May 2005. Congratulations Jan!!
Mia won the large Intermediate bitch class at the National in 2006 under Peter Mills. She also won the State Bred class at the 2007 Tas GRC Champ Show under breed specialist Henric Fryckstrand from Sweden. Here is her critique: "Well balanced bitch shown in good condition and lovely coat. Feminine head, nice expression. Good reach of neck, excellent front construction. Very good bone, short coupled. Excellent ribs, strong quarters, good topline when standing. Moves with good extension and drive. Gleaming coat, well presented."
On Sun 18th Jan 2004 she won Best Minor Puppy in Show under an international judge from South Africa.
She won Best Minor Puppy in Show under judge Jean Hargreaves from Tasmania at the Tasmanian Golden Retriever Specialty Championship Show Sat 21st Feb 2004. See that pic in Our Photos
On Sat 17th April under Mrs N Hammond-Robertson Mia won another Bitch CC and Runner Up to Best of Breed to her brother Ned who went on to win Puppy in Show again. She is now nearly half way to her Aust Ch title at only 10 months of age!!!! What a little super star!
Mia has picked up 2 recent CC's and was awarded Opp Intermediate in Show under Wayne Pearson at the Tas GRC Ch Show in Jan. Her critique:

Kaparla Such Is Life
Pleasant head and expression, with good pigmentation. Prefer slightly more angulation front and rear. Moved truly coming and going, however prefer more reach and drive. Not in best coat on the day."
