Every farm has "livestock" and what could be livlier than bunnies?
I got our first rabbit "Bitta Liten" which means little thing...well she was very tiny as you can see but grew into a great big rabbit! I decided to go with purebred rabbits so I would know what to expect.

My first breed was Harlequin Dutch, but after a few very colorful litters, got some Holland Lops and now am breeding them. I mostly sell to 4H kids who are looking for a rabbit to show at the summer county fairs.

Bubba, a broken fawn , is the oldest and my first Buck. Blossom who was a tricolor had a litter but died of Wryneck soon afterwards. I had kept a buck from her litter who was Bundt , a broken tort. I purchased Beauty, a tort and bred to Bubba again, kept a male , a sable point Billy.
Bunnifer joined us , a blue otter.

We found out the Holland Lops are just the most precious little babies, and I think we will stick with them.

Bundt	Billy 6 months old Sable Point

Here are my two boys that I have kept...now you know I don't need more boys! But of last years litter, Bundt was the prettiest with his Tort and white markings and this year, Billy was the absolute friendliest boy and is from the litter of Beauty and Bubba. I sold some of the babies at an Auction last year and this year to the All Creatures Great and Small pet store.
I sure love the Holland Lop babies... they are so cute.
