Baby Satchmo - 22/07/06
Achievements:
The cute baby photo above of Satchmo - taken on the 22/07/06, was sent to us along with photos of 3 of his brothers from the Ex-Litter (Denzel, Blade and Steel), to help us make the decision which boy puppy to PURCHASE to include in and improve our breeding program. Although our breeding program required a Blue Merle -with Tricolour being our secondary pick, the blue boys in this litter had already been spoken for.
We 'fell in love' with Satchy's beautiful face straight off and just knew that he was the boy for us - particularly when it came to deciding between purchasing Satchmo or Denzel.......sorry Denz!!!, although Denzel was a nice looking boy Satchmo's stunning face appealed to us greatly.
Although Satchy has only been with us for a short period of time......... we would be lost without him - his most endearing 'in your face' attitude really stands out amongst the crowd, and we love him dearly.!!! There is no way in the world that we would ever part with our special boy, he will be with us always!!.
Satchmo's outstanding lines need no introduction to most in the international 'fancy', therefore we feel there is no need to repeat information that can be found on the websites of those breeders who produced these lines - it is through their dedicated efforts in the past that are responsible for bringing us our beautiful Satchmo in the first place - we feel that it's not really our place to do the "bragging"!!!.
However, for those who are unfamiliar with these lines and would like to know more - photos, pedigrees and information on many of Satchmo's relatives, and their breeders - can be found amongst the Collie Breeder's Links on the Links Page - click on the Collie's Kennel name, or "ColliesOnLine" - Advertising Archives. It will take some time before Olorcain can extend it's photo and pedigree data-base, and add more links to include as many of Satchmo's relatives as possible.
