Achievements:
After spending my entire childhood sharing our 'family' collies with the whole family, I purchased my very first Collie owned exclusively by me!!! at the age of 16 when I started to earn my own money!....several years LATER.....Kelly became the very first Registered Collie I had ever owned - I purchased her from Mrs. A. C. Court (Kydell) in Seymour in Victoria in 1978, after I had witnessed my very first dog show in "real life". (Puppies galore!!!, yes breeders of that time were taking their baby puppies to dog shows!!!.) from here on I watched many dog shows in Victoria, Canberra, and later....back in Townsville. It was near impossible to show and breed collies in those early years with an ex-husband who was always away on exercise or 'out bush' most of the year.
(The photos above are heat and light damaged, hence the red tinge in these photos - this little pup's coat was quite black).
