CommentsThanks for educating me about dogs. Actually, I've learned a lot about life in general. You can't help but learn something, being around your dad. I really loved making him laugh. Thanks for letting me be a part of your family. All my prayers and love to the rest of the family. If there's anything I can do, you know how to reach me. Moses

CommentsGreat web site and fantastic dogs - especially red rocket. I would give my left arm to own a dog like that! I live in England and regularly attend game and country fair shows where working terriers are exhibited. We tend to see more broken/ rough coated terriers at these events ( old fell types ). There is usally a strong representation within the working lakeland terrier classes also. How do your smooth coated dogs take to colder climates? I own an old line Buck-Breay type terrier who works on the only legal quarry we can hunt here in England - Yes its Rats, such a shame! Shes got a great nose and is an excellent finder and bushing dog - will flush anything with legs. She also dominates my 45kg male Rhodesian Ridgeback. Great to see your patterdales performing their true function in life ( Hunting ) on a variety of game also - long may it reign. Ive got views on whether a patterdale should be hand spanable or not, but that depends on what your hunting. I would hate to see the patterdale turn into a small catch dog, is this the reason why small pitts are being crossed with patts - if so what are your views ? P.S Any chance of a pup from red rocket ? Regards Paul.
CommentsI have finished these guys pedigrees, it went smoothly. Again, would like to thank you and your wife for making this an enjoyable transaction. To me, the purchase of a dog is second only to having a child born. Because of the many years of ownership and care given to the pups and the bonding that takes place, it is very important that every aspect of the purchase of a new puppy ( or puppies) is exciting and pleasant. Thanks very much, The Addams' Family
CommentsHello, Your dogs are "Wunderbar"!I like them a lot.Merry Christmas from Germany, Silvia,Bernd and Standardpoodles. http://www.silvias-pudel.de
CommentsI really enjoyed looking at the pictures of your dogs! They're beauts. I love smooth coated dogs and I love terriers. I have never had a fell terrier but I might in the future. I have a Dachshund, a pit bull, and a rat terrier. My dogs don't hunt except for the occasional armadillo, oppossum, or rabbit they run into on our half acre. Copper my pit bull likes to dig up moles and shrews and catch lizards. Do you think your dogs could be happy running agility? Oh well I can always dream.
CommentsJack and Craig, Thanks a million for the Turk pups, they are everything you said.Put me down for a female off him and one off that Braveheart dog too,I LIKES EM!!J&J you fellas can use me as a referance ANYTIME!!Great dogs, and if I can sneak it past the old lady,I'm gonna try to get one out of Bad BIlly, your right HE IS BAAADDD!! CommentsHave my female from Gravedigger Jr and out of Raven. She's a very stout built pup who's already pretty fearless at 10 weeks. My experience dealing with J&J has made me more than comfortable recommending these guys, their great family and their awesome dogs, to anyone interested, and even a few who aren't LOL Seriously, this pup is everything I could have hoped for. A HUGE special Thanks to Craig,he did what a lot of business people should try, and that's being able to improvise when an uncontrollable dealbreaker is thrown in the equation, Craig was able to hook me up with an awesome bred pup that turned out to be HIS personal PICK, Roxy's turning out to be the smartest, most loyal, confident, energetic pup I've ever owned. Craig had her shipped 2500 miles, via airlines. After over 10 hours in a crate with all the stress and comotion involved, it took her 15 minutes to feel confident enough to wear out my 5 and 1.5 year olds. She's already won over the family and everyone she comes in contact with. Definitely a keeper. Down the road, I'd still like to score a nice male from Lil Turk. I'll keep you posted Craig and forward pics of Roxy. She's our little Maniac Mama, so pictures all blurred.LOL. I'll get some to you some how. Anyone looking for a smart confident dog which all have workers in their peds, I feel confident that you coud stop your search here and buy one of these J&J Patterdales and never look back. Contact them and you're in good hands. Period! Thanks again Craig and everyone over at J&J for allowing my family to own one of your incredible dogs. I wish nothing but the best for you all! Ron
Commentshi craig, just a word to say your site still looks very nice, and the most important is that it introduce some very nice working dogs from the finest bloodlines. Congratulations, keep the good work my friend. We wish you all the best from France. Yours in terrier. Sylvain www.patterdale-terrier.fr

CommentsGood site and good to see that working dogs are doing so well over there. In the past I worked my terriers for two hunts over in the uk but a heart attack and the change in the law has steadied that downe a little. the terriers I work are chocalate Patterdales, Brian Nuttall used a half bred bitch out of mine and his for a out cross some years ago. take care, John
CommentsI like your site, its loaded with information and Great Pics! And thanks for the help with Doogan's pedigree. Take Care! :) Dean D
CommentsWe recently rescued a terrier from an RSPCA centre in the UK. Your website has been invaluable in identifying it as a Patterdale Terrier. It is a rough haired black and tan about 4 years old.

Scotty, Punish the deed, not the breed...
Commentswhats going on jack, craig give me a call sometime. nice web site tell maxine i said hi and merry christmas chris
CommentsLoved Your site no prejudices just good dogs from different lines if we all could breed with an open fair mind without what I call Kennel Blindness but with major efforts to breed the best workers from lines of true workers without following the fashionable crowd "unless proven" Then what a high standard the Patterdale and other Terriers would become "As nothing stands still or it becomes stale,"Well Done" once again ! Great and Honest Site,Oh Hope you like the enclosed photo of my Cadella Darcy she is a great little working Russell and throws very Smart Russell's Your Friend and in Sport Robert Booth
Commentsgreat site Love your dogs... I have some ratties and fiests here was checkin on yours may wanna do some businss thanks

Commentsgreat site nicely put together some nice pic's goodluck.
CommentsI was the original owner of the Powerpacked dogs and can say that in my opinion, the Robert Booth bred dogs are the hardest in the sport! Robert knows how to breed up straight ahead, non turning, game, game and more game Patterdales. As for me, I have to have the hard ones! Nice sight and nice Dogs, I like what my old blood is throwing.
Commentsyour yard is looking real good, alot of fine patters you guys are feeding over their. hope to get a female off your yard in the future. goodluck & keep breeding them fine patters.

Commentslike your site cracking terriers.just got pup if turn out like yours and goes to ground then am happy good site.stu from scottland Name: Tim Lakes CommentsCraig, What an awesome male pup you sent me from Gravedigger Jr /Spade. At only 7 weeks this little devil will grag hold of everything from fingers to the cuff of my pants and will not let loose. He has been named GRIP and WOW! he has a good one. You provided exactly what I wanted in a pup. I am hoping he will prove himself on game in the future. Name: Sot Chitalada CommentsI love your dog very much.Very nice.Strong.Do you ship to California?I just move here 1 year ago,and my home has everything ,now needs dog.You have dog like Billy for sale?Thank you, very good dogs J&J, Sot Chitalada Name: R.Darden CommentsGreat dogs.Love your site.It is one of the best on the internet, bar none!I love the variety of pictures, and information you provide.I'll be ready for a patterdale soon, and definitely know this is where I'll be coming, yis R.Darden Name: Earl Yahola CommentsIt was very refreshing to meet someone who had what they said.I must say that I was sold right from the start, when instead of pressing me to buy from you,you tried to help me find what I wanted, regardless from where it might come.Instead of telling me you had the best, you praised your fellow dog men & women, and their dogs. You gave me several names and numbers of kennels that might have what I wanted,as well as referring me to your links page. That let me know right then and there, that you believed in your dogs, and had no fear of me looking elsewhere, you didn't seem bothered, only helpful. That is rare in dog business, and you probably weren't aware, but at that point,I was a customer.I love the Mojo and Gravedigger jr pups. Those two really seem to be producing workers.I already knew Billy was, because of his daughter that my brother owns.If you ever need a reference, don't hesitate to call.As soon as we move,I will be buying more.Your friend, Earl Yahola
CommentsJ&J, just seen your site GraveDigger Jr. looks like a beast!! Good Huntin' YIS Nelson
CommentsDear J&J, Great site, and great looking Patts. I was wondering if you had any pups on the way or any breedings planned? Personally I think you have the most informative and updated site out there, along with some awesome looking dogs. Thanks Frank
CommentsHello Craig, you are a honest and wonderful guy to have meet. You have the best looking and acting Patts I seen around. Thanks for showing me around your yard and Happy Holidays!
CommentsHello, You have a great site, with some great looking Patts. I have a 2 year old female I got from Jeff Rowe and she is a great little dog. I will be looking for another one in the near future I was wondering if you had any on the way or if you had any breedings planned, and if so who would you be breeding. If you could get back to me when you have time, I would appreciate it. These dogs are the best kept secret in the dog world. Thank You, Frank
CommentsWow, what it must be like to own a dog like Bad Billy! I have a great terrier that is getting up in years and am researching for her replacement. I have seen many P.D. sites and out of all them I felt compelled to write and tell you that I can smell the gamness of your dogs over the internet. I am a new student of P.D.lines and love your dogs' physical type. They look like they have been put together well. I am also impressed at the fact that you have been able to reproduce the same type in many generations. Good luck, great site! Uriah Tryon
CommentsCraig, how you doing? this is Ray with Rocky!my wife was trying to get a hold of you to get a female for me for my birthday.Always like talking to you and Jack. how is Jack doing anyway? hope your both well! hope to hear from you soon. Ray

CommentsCraig, Thanks for the dogs we had a great time meeting and chatting with you.. My brother decided to name his dog Dirty Blue Sanchez and my puppy's name is Diablo..They both are great dogs and if you ever need a reference we will definately do that for you.. We enjoyed watching Billy go CRAZZZY and your site says hes insane we all agree on that.. Gravedigger Jr. is beautiful and full of drive.. You definately are breeding very nice dogs that are beautiful with crazzzzy drive everything the breed is supposed to be..Both dogs have seen the rat and both go totally nuts over it including the pup..Tell Mr. Jack we said hello and we will keep in touch.. Rick Furrow Jeremy Furrow
CommentsHello, I was just on your website. Very impressive. Thanks for your time. Phil
CommentsHello Mr Wilson,I hope you and yours are keeping well how are things going with with the Terriers and hunting ,Yours in Sport Robert Booth.
CommentsHey, It was nice meeting you and your father the other day. I will say you keep your dogs in very good condition. I really like the tight bred Booth pup that I picked up already. I hated to get rid of Blue Thunder, but I am glad that you got him back, I know it is just a matter of time, until he is 100%.I am sending you a picture of Ravage, so you can put it up Todd
CommentsGreat site! It's been a pleasure to know you all. Since I've gotten the 2 pups from you guys a few years ago, I've gotten to know your family. You guys are the best. You've always had the best dogs. Those pups turned out to be the the best dogs I've ever owned as you know. I know you guys know your dogs and have never met anybody as passionate and knowledgeable about dogs as you guys and it shows in the bloodline. God bless your whole family and I'll see you soon. Keep up the good work. Moses

CommentsComments: J&J, You fellas still have the best DOGS around. We appreciate you helping keep the bloodlines pure, most other kennels don't even know what they're breeding, trying to pass their concoctions off for $. You really know your stuff & it shows in your DOGS. Just an update, our female tackled a raccoon that was 3x her size, she hit it HARD!!!. This evening she snagged a HUGE possum! She is CRAZY! Best dog I've ever owned! Thanks for delivering what you advertise! Keep me posted on the new Spring litter. You should think of cloning BAD BILLY, he is truly the King of BAD!!! Thanks

CommentsI was most impressed with your site and your dogs. I live in FL and got my first 2 out of LA over 15 years ago, but only have one female at this time. I looked at almost every Patterdale website and none compared to yours. Would love to hear from you. My female, Pita, really resembles your Spade. Best wishes from sunny Florida.
Commentsa very nice sight that i enjoy. keep it up guys!
CommentsMr.Jack, We just pulled in about an hour ago,and got the dogs situated.I didn't think we would ever own another patt, after losing the one from G.Hammonds, because he was one of a kind. But you made a liar out of me,because I ended up getting 2 from you,and for sure want one off that Gravedigger Jr. dog.Bad Billy is BAAADD!!If you ever want to sell him,Please notify me,and I will take out a mortgage if need be(just don't tell my wife). But I look forward to crossing Bad Billy's offspring into Gravedigger Jr.,and when I do,you will have a breeding pair,on my word. You are a true gentleman, and an asset to the dog game.It was refreshing to meet a fellow who had what he advertised as having, and went out of his way to help me,even though you weren't in the best of health.Kudos to you Mr.Jack, and I will send you something on the upcoming litter next week.God Bless you & yours, Cody,Beth, and family
CommentsWe LOVE your dogs.We have a pair from D.Mason, and three from Hurricane Kennels, and look forward to purchasing at least 2 more from your kennels.Thank you for allowing us to your yard to see your dogs, and tell your son Jesse, that he truly knows his stuff. When he had your Mojo on that giant coon,it was INSANE!Jesse said "Don't worry,Mojo can handle this",but in the south,we don't have coon that large, and I thought "you fellows have just lost a dog".But,he came through, and didn't make a sound. You're breeding the kind of stuff we want. Thanks and see you soon,KAMO
CommentsReally enjoyed your site. I have two JRT's up here in northern Michigan and really enjoy them. They're both hard fight'in, gamey little dogs. They are unfortunately both getting a little long in the tooth, and when the time comes I'm thinking of going with a Patterdale. The more I find out about them the more I like the sounds of them. I really like the looks of the dog on your photo page "Powerpacks Red Rocket". I'd kinda like to here his story, i.e. type, ability, strengths, what happened to him. Anyway I might contact you about coming down and possibly seeing your dogs and kennel, this summer. Really enjoyed the site keep breed'in them good dogs!
CommentsI'm not sure if alot of you patterdale fans know, but i've done some business with a phil. Out of Beaver creek terriers. This guy has some really awesome bloodlines.Pure Nuttals(Binky)Pure VanBeeks(Dice,Acid)Imports from Holland and the U.K. Gould blood, Mason blood... This guy has it all. I really enjoy J&J's site. These pat's are truley awesome! It's good for all of us to maintain an open forum on who has what and how we can keep on improving these fine working dogs. The ban in the U.K. is unreal!? This kind of hunting has gone on for as long as man and dog have been a team... Literally centurys. It's a sad day for hunters everywhere when a person cant hunt with a dog... J&J has some of the finest hunting dogs in northern America. If you enjoy J&J's site check out Beaver Creek's site. dogwebs.net/BEAVERCREEK/
CommentsThanks for the information on your dogs, very interesting! It was nice to see the Nuttall breeding in your dogs as I have an 11 month old bitch bred by Brian, who lives 30 minutes from me here in Liverpool UK. It is always good to hear from like minded people world wide especially since the hunting with dogs ban went ahead here in the uk. Pete Taylor....patterdales,border terriers, staffordshire bull terriers and jack russels - all working dogs of the right type.
Commentslove the site and the dogs. I have a large male all black he is 32lbs. His name is hunter and I got him from Rudy Schwab in Germany, I live in Long Island, New York. I am not really into hunting anymore but was wondering what I could do with my dog. I was taking him to dog parks since he was 3 month old but now he fights with the other dogs so I had to stop taking him. Do most Patterdales who get socialized early become agressive toward other dogs?
CommentsI come from England and it is nice to see good working terriers in america. As you know we have a ban coming soon it is pathetic.I am only 14 what shall i do with the rest of my life which is devoted to all and every hunting from ferreting, and beating to digging and foxhunting! Keep on workingh your dogs!
Commentshello Patterdale peeps! Nice site! im trying to set up a UK Patterdale forums, my group is http://uk.groups.yahoo.com/group/Patterdale_Terrier_UK/ all welcome
CommentsI really enjoyed your web site, one reason is that it was informitive, and i thought your web page best dipicted what a working patterdale traits are and should be without question
CommentsCraig, you and your father have done an excellent job breeding these dogs!! We recently bought a Bad Billy male pup and the blue female from you. We are from Lansing. These two dogs are OUTSTANDING!! They are every bit of what you advertise on your home page. They have tremendous heart, character, strength and most of all DRIVE!! we had the female on small rats at 14 weeks and were astounded at her speed and prey drive. She got so excited, she tries to eat them!! She is beautiful. The little black male has quite an attitude. If he's not hunting, he's biting your pant leg. We are VERY pleased and have recommended you to all of our friends. Best regards to you and your family, Nikki Brown Premier K9 Lansing Michigan
CommentsThis is a great website. We are patterdale parents and are looking to add to the clan. Please send us more info to our e-mail address. We are from Wyoming and they are rarely heard of out here. We are looking to spred the word about an awsome breed of dog..... Curley-Sues Mommy Jolene Fauber

CommentsHi, I enjoyed your site. I currently own two Patterdales (m and f). My parents bred and I took two of the litter. The male came from Mason and the female came from Florida (can't remember the breeder). Well the breeding went well and they threw a litter of 5. We don't hunt the dogs, and they have made the best pets we've ever had. I will probablly never get any other dogs but Patterdales for the rest of my life. My two are 3 years old now. My only concern is that they are kind of hard to find in the U.S. and I want to stay away from inbreeding when I am ready to get another one. We ran into that problem when we were looking for a male to breed our female with. Luckily we found Mason. Well cheers to a fellow Patterdale owner. I enjoy looking at the hunting photos on people's websites-but don't have the guts to do it myself. Jen
