Achievements:
Rhino is an adorable, bright, bold and energetic little boy...just what you want to see in a NOrwegian Elkhound puppy...he is very very people friendly and has been socialized to people of all ages, cats, and farm animals.
He is wonderful with children, even small ones although he hasnt learned not to jump up yet.
He is waiting patiently for his very own family... after starting off being dumped at a shelter was not the best start but luckily one of the shelter workers took him home and he was raised until now with foster families . He is used to dogs of all breeds.
He has his shots with the exception of rabies which will be given at 16 weeks.
Reno was adopted in 2007. He was a wonderful boy, somewhat stubborn as a lot of elkhounds are and a best friend to the WNER coordinators dog . He had a wonderful but short life.
He met an untimely and unfortunate death at age 3, run over by a car when it swerved to avoid hitting another dog. The family was totally devastated, but have since gotten another elkhound.
