Achievements:
Savannah is a young purebred NOrwegian Elkhound who was surrendered by her owners as they had a number of dogs and some and Savannah were not getting along. She likes to chase small dogs (and probably cats). Other than that she is a sweet adaptable girl. On the tall side, but at a good weight for her height. She is very good about being handled , walking on leash and in general we think she will make a great pet. She does get along with dogs that are medium to large sized.
Savannah spent a little over a month with us in foster care and was then adopted by a woman who lived in a neighboring community and had lost her older elkhound. At first Savannah's energy level was a bit much but she is settling in fine now. Adopted in 2009.
UPDATE Savannah has settled down and has made a wonderful companion.
