Welcome to Giltedge Golden Retrievers. My name is Kim Handley and I have been showing and breeding dogs for most of my life. I started helping my parents Alan and Judy Poulton "Laurieton Kennels" with their Basset Hounds when I was 7 years old. I progressed through the ranks of Junior Handlers and handled Laurieton Basset Hounds to many Specialty Best in Shows. On my 10th birthday, I was allowed a dog of my own, and was presented with the most wonderful English Cocker Spaniel bitch "Greenglen Sunflower", she was the light of my life and together we learnt the trade and enjoyed many fabulous wins, culminating in winning the Gundog Group at the prestigious PAL International when I was 13 years old, being the youngest handler ever to do so.
