Big Skye “Tanagold” Golden Retrievers is a small, home-based hobby kennel located in Stevensville, Montana. We have bred golden retrievers off and on for over 15 years. Stevensville is officially recognized as the first permanent settlement in the state of Montana. Stevensville is located along the Bitterroot Valley adjacent to the beautiful Bitterroot Mountain Range.
First and foremost, we enjoy Golden’s as family pets, and secondly as competitors and athletes. We have been active in obedience, 4-H dog programs, our local kennel club and the show ring.
Our goal is to produce healthy Goldens of sound temperament, correct conformation, athleticism and a dog that is willing and eager to learn. We occasionally have litters of puppies available for both performance and pet homes.
Our plans are to have one litter a year at this time. We are very excited for our upcoming litter - due early August! We have bred Skye to Doolin-River's Tullamore Dew "Tulo".
