Welcome to Kordsmeier Mastiffs, where I am working to bring back the Mastiffs of old, Body,Mind and Soul.
I am completely devoted to these most Aristocratic Dogs and have worked constantly, on the genetics behind each and every dog/puppy, paying my dues by spending years studying and stamping in the most desired and correct traits. This leaves no time for the show ring and until I could make sure I had done my best for the betterment of the breed by taking away and adding the bloodlines needed to attain the best of both breed standards"A.K.C. and British", I would stay at home and continue the labor of love.
I started with 8 of the best CH.Bloodlined Studs and 5 CH.Sired Females, all with the traits and qualities needed to bring back what was lacking in today's Mastiffs. From these original dogs, I have put together the Mastiffs of Old and this year,2008, for the first time ever, I have all lines, combined. I have bred and raised over 6 generations of my own lines and that continues to grow and grow each year.
I offer a full, lifetime Health Guarantee on every $5000 pick of the litter male or female, and a full, 2 Year Health Guarantee on all others,Show or Pet($1000-$2500.00). In addition to this, I also have a Breeder's Incentive Fund, that will refund 1/2 of the purchase price of every puppy/dog that goes on to earn his/her CH. of Merit as well as Lifetime Support. I feel the health contract and support is something any reputable breeder will do as a Norm and Standard, not as a simple gesture to make a sale.
All babies are hand-delivered in my home and treated as members of my family. They are socialized with horses,dairy goats,chickens,ducks and all kinds of farm animals as well as children.
From the age of 2 days old, no matter the size of the litter, large or small, each puppy is bottle fed with my baby cereal formula(that includes fresh/live/raw dairy goat milk) to ensure, each has the most excellent start life has to offer. They are wormed at 7 days of age and every week thereafter, until 6 weeks of age, then every 2 weeks, until 10 weeks of age(alternating wormers,for best results). At 10 weeks, they are started on Heart Worm Preventative and a once a month broad spectrum wormer for the rest of their lives, as well as Frontline Plus, for all the other little nasties.
I am here for the long run and will always be available to each and every extended family member(that purchases one of the kids).
