INTRODUCING: THE FIRST EVER, " WOLF-MASTIFF CUBS"

I know this may seem strange or any other number of feelings to those of you that do not know me or what I have been doing for the past 23+ years, so to help clarify this, here is a little about my work with these, the first Guardians.
For the past 25+ years I have rescued,bred,protected and loved these pure,selfless,loving Wolves. They have never lived at my back door "pun intended", but rather in my home, with me, along with my other animals and yes, even the Mastiffs.
There is no place left for them, then or now, so, someone had to do something(or that is what I told myself, after realizing they were facing certain death, at the hands of men that felt they didn't deserve the right to live free anymore) IF, they were to continue to live and thrive..I knew when I got my first ones,(first generation out of the wild) that my life would be changed forever. What I didn't know, was what all that entailed,i.e; the thrill,the unconditional love,the bonding,becoming leaded of the pack,the provider for all they needed and the love and respect given back to me for being placed in that role. Without turning this into another book( yes, I have 3 written, one is a work in progress,about the life of Stalker, the first and only) the others are about, what they have taught me about us and them and just how little it takes for all of us to live together in harmony, without conflict or death to the one unwilling to give.
In time, I will be adding much more about them and the life we share together, with the Mastiffs,Horses,Dairy Goats,Chickens,Ducks,Geese,Pigeons and anything else that happens to come here....In Harmony and Love..It's not difficult, when you're brought up by wolves and then, respect each other...(which is how we all live here on the farm)
Right now, I want to introduce you to the newest additions to my family:( and yet oldest, babies ever)(because the Mastiff did originate from the Wolf) and not that long ago either. The " WOLF-MASTIFFS".
Your first question has to be, WHY? For years, I have known the intelligence of the Wolf, so it was just a natural inclination to wonder," What would I get IF , they ever crossed?" But, since I was diagnosed terminal, I just figured that was a question that would go unanswered and I continued to live my life and not worry about it anymore, UNTIL this past year, when the unthinkable happened.....
You have to understand the nature of the Wolf first : They are totally and completely Faithful to the death, to their mate, so there is NO way on earth, unless that female is away from her mate(be it death or him gone) she will even look at a dog with love or a sexual interest...When I was first diagnosed(almost 15 years ago, the first time) I had every male Wolf neutered, to prevent any cubs being born, without me there to protect them..This was more for their sake than mine, but did give me peace of mind, until they kept breeding, even though the males were neutered...Yes, complete, total tie-ups, but no cubs(thank GOD). lol That was even different than what any of us are use to seeing, with castrated animals of any species. So with that knowledge, here we are, years later and me looking up one afternoon in Nov.07 to see Bear(my white female Wolf) flagging Sumo(my year old Mastiff Stud)
a signal, he knew meant business....I was dumbfounded and shocked after all these years...You see, Bear is now 13 going on 14 and has Never had a litter of babies, even though, she has raised or been apart of raising every Mastiff I've ever delivered...She absolutely loves babies and now, here she is, saying," I'm ready mom, Please put him in with me"... Okay, not in that many words, but I got the point, trust me on this. lol
They tied up Once and only Once, for more than 30 minutes and here is the result of that tieup...
There won't be another one, because one litter is plenty and I did it for her and the knowledge, that if anything were to happen to Bear, at least Stalker's life-saving bloodline would go on for at least one more generation, least we needed the milk or a small amount of their blood to help humankind...You will hear more about her in the coming days and months(because her mother and daddy were world reknown, for saving hundreds if not thousands of human lives) by the compounds and immunities, found in their milk(another story for later). Suffice to say, that same powerful lifesaving immunity, is now coursing through the veins of these precious little souls, each and everyone.
When the LORD sent me the first wolves, I never knew it would turn into a lifetime of such commitment and dedication but these were faced with certain death at the hands of white men, that were threatened by their population and how it might effect their hunting...How STUPID....but isn't that just like what they've been doing to everything they touch, since time began?. Some of you may be like them(ignorant of just how intelligent and gentle they really are) some of you may already know what I do and truly appreciate how special and important they really are to all of us..that they do adapt to whatever nature or in this case, men, throw at them and adapt very well I might add..which is why it was so easy to see to their needs..They had pastures to roam in, free from the fear of being shot at any given moment, like so many still today would do to them, given the chance..They never had to fear hunger or a number of other horrible feelings their kin did then and still do today...People write many books and things about them and yet, they've never even touched one, much less lived with one or a pack and I mean, really live and sleep in the same room with them...and they have put the message out, that it is better for them to die, than adjust and survive...What a joke...Zoo's are the real horror of it all...They pace like caged idiots, stripped of all their dignity and freedom, all so that people can go and stare at them...Just recently I have been attacked by such people, for my stance in regard to them and the once in a lifetime breeding to one of my Mastiff studs. Ignorance is no excuse to attack another for doing the right thing...and since it was a one time thing for all the right reasons, with two of the most stable of all God's creatures(contrary to their book learned, lies) and I have proved to be a responsible person that takes care of my babies, it was totally unprovoked. The good these two babies stand for, far out weighs any personal attacks on my reputation, especially from strangers that have nothing better to do than be know it all's without any experience whatsoever in the field. The good LORD put them in my care and through them, came lifesaving cures for we humans that might never have been discovered had it not been for that fateful day, many years ago, when I took up the cross and did what I was ask to do. In the near future, I will update the pictures of these two special kids and share much more with you about their lives and how they are doing. I want to thank you all for your support and understanding. Some people will never change and some will rise above the others and march on, I want to be the latter of the two choices...and strive to do my very best...

Grizzly, Little Red Dove and Stalker ll (namesake for her famous Grandmother, Stalker) and the third male, has yet to be named yet, but will be soon.
NOTE:All of these precious babies are with their new families now...Good friends of mine that know the Mastiff's and wolves equally and just how faithful they are. They go everywhere with them and are a part of their family for the rest of their lives, as it should be.
I have kept two, for the sole purpose of making sure the homeopathic cures they carry will be there in case it's ever needed and the way this world is going, it most likely will be. That being said, they are both loved members of my family, just as their mother and her mother were. God had a reason for me to be a part of their lives and vice versa and I wouldn't have missed this adventure for anything.
If only other humans understood just how important each species is and how it interactions with all of us on a much higher level than can be seen,is for everyones good in the end, then, tolerance would be learned and ignorance would be wiped completely out.
Of course, there is no known cure for Stupid. On that, I give...and let GOD handle those details.

ON DECEMEBER 10TH , 2008 I RECEIVED A LIFE CHANGING EMERGENCY PHONE CALL FROM ONE OF MY BEST FRIENDS AND FELLOW MASTIFF LOVERS, JENNIFER KOUBA OF DUNNELLON,FL.,SOUTHHAVENMASTIFFS.

EMANCIATED BEYOND WORDS OR DESCRIPTION, BEATEN,SCARRED, DEHYDRATED, TOENAILS SO LONG AND UNTRIMMED THAT THEY WERE LITERALLY GROWING INTO THE PADS OF THEIR FEET, TEETH GROUND DOWN FROM UNIMAGINABLE STARVATION AND THE ATTEMPTS TO ESCAPE.

SORES,TUMORS,STAPH INFECTION AND THE TESTICLES OF THE MALES WERE SO BLISTERED FROM LYING IN THEIR OWN URINE, THEY LOOK AS IF SOMEONE POURED BATTERY ACID ON THEM. BROKEN AND FRACTURED BONES ON MORE THAN ONE, AN INNOCENT OLDER MALE PUPPY WITH ONLY ONE EYE AND IT INFECTED, PUS OOZING FROM IT AND THE LIST GOES ON AND ONE.

I HAVE KNOWN BETTY AND TIM FOR ALMOST 4 YEARS NOW AND IT TOOK THEM OVER A YEAR TO GET THEIR FIRST MASTIFF FROM ME. NOT THAT THEY GAVE ME ANY INDICATION OF WHAT KIND OF MONSTERS THEY WERE, I JUST WANTED TO GET TO KNOW THEM BETTER AND FIND OUT WHAT THEIR REASONS WERE FOR WANTING TO GET MY LINES AND START BREEDING. I WAS REASSURED FROM OTHER BREEDER'S IN THE AREA,"THAT THEY WERE GOOD,UPRIGHT,HONEST,GOD FEARING PEOPLE". SOMETHING ALL OF US NOW KNOW, COULDN'T BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH.

IN ANYCASE, OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS, THEY CAME TO ARKANSAS, VISITED AND TOOK BACK WITH THEM, SOME OF MY MOST PRECIOUS BABIES AS I HAD JUST RECENTLY BE RE-DIAGNOSED WITH CANCER AGAIN AND TRYING TO FIND THEM THAT PERFECT, LIFETIME,HOME.

THE PAIN I AM FEELING FROM THAT DECISION, WILL STAY WITH ME THE REST OF MY LIFE...EVEN THOUGH I DID EVERYTHING BY THE BOOK, THINGS WENT HORRIBLY,DEADLY WRONG AND THESE MONSTERS TRIED TO DESTROY EVERYTHING DECENT AND GOOD, THEY TOUCHED OR CAME IN CONTACT WITH. BETTY AND TIM NEVER PAID ME A DIME FOR MY MASTIFF FAMILY, BUT THAT DIDN'T STOP PUPPY MILLING PUPPIES FROM THEM AND SELLING THEM AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE.(all the time, lying and telling me and Jennifer anything they could to keep us from finding out what they were really up to). MATTER OF FACT, THEY TRIED TO USE JENNIFER'S HOME AND PRETEND IT WAS THEIR'S WHEN FAMILIES ARRIVED TO PURCHASE A PUPPY FROM HER.

THAT BEING SAID, THE MOMENT I RECEIVED THAT CALL, HELP WAS ON THE WAY TO FL. IN LESS THAN 2 HOURS(from that first call). AARON DAVIS (formerly of LEGENDARY KENNELS,FAYETTEVILLE,AR.) AND A DEAR FRIEND OF OURS RENTED A CARGO VAN TO PICK THE BABIES UP AND WE SENT THE GIRLS ON THEIR WAY. IN THE MEANTIME, JENNIFER, HER VERY UNDERSTANDING HUSBAND TERRY AND THEIR PRECIOUS CHILDREN, ALONG WITH AMANDA RUSSELL(OF PINELLAS PARK) CAME TO THE RESCUE. THESE TWO VERY BRAVE,LOVING WOMEN TOOK IN 4 OF THE MASTIFFS THAT VERY DAY, BUT THE OTHERS WOULD HAVE TO AWAIT MY DAUGHTER'S(Tiffany Wilkerson and her friend, Melissa Owens of AR.) ARRIVAL FROM HERE.

THROUGH OUT ALL OF THIS, I WAS TRYING TO MAKE ARRANGEMENTS IN THE FORM OF FOOD,BEDDING,ANTIBIOTICS,VACCINATIONS,WORMER,EXTRA BEDDING AND OTHER SUPPLIES TO MAKE READY FOR THEIR ARRIVAL, IN ADDITION TO CALLING ANIMAL CONTROL IN MARION COUNTY,FL TO ASK FOR THEIR HELP IN GETTING MY BABIES BACK.

I RECEIVED THE CALL THAT THE GIRLS HAD ARRIVED THE NEXT MORNING,DEC.11TH, AT APPROX. 9 AM(the girls had literally flew to the rescue) AND THEY ARRIVED JUST AS ANIMAL CONTROL HAD GOTTEN TO BETTY AND TIM CLARKS HOUSE OF HORRORS.

AQUALLA STEPHEN(HEAD OF ANIMAL CONTROL IN MARION CO.) WAS TRULY THE DIFFERENCE IN LIFE AND DEATH FOR MY FAMILY MEMBERS AND SHE WORKED HARD TO GET THE EVIDENCE TO PUT THIS EVIL AWAY.

THAT MORNING, JENNIFER,TIFFANY AND MELISSA GOT ALL THEY FOUND AT THE CLARK PUPPY MILL, BUT, CH.SIRED CASTLE CREEK DOUBLE SHOT WAS MISSING AS WERE A NUMBER OF OTHER MASTIFFS. WHEN THE DHS TOOK THE 4 FOSTER CHILDREN OUT OF THE CLARKS HOUSE, PICTURES WERE TAKEN OF DOUBLE SHOT(such was his condition at the time, near death) SO WE KNEW HE HAD TO BE SOMEWHERE CLOSE AND THE SEARCH FOR MY BABY BOY BEGAN IN EARNEST.

BETTY KEPT CALLING ME THAT MORNING OF THE 11TH, LYING TO ME ABOUT HIS WHEREABOUTS BUT I WOULD NOT BELIEVE HER LIES ANYMORE AND TOLD MY DAUGHTER AND JENNIFER TO DO WHATEVER WAS NECESSARY TO FIND HIM(even if it meant going further into the state to where she told me he was located).

AFTER MORE THAN AN HOUR OF THE LIES, BETTY FINALLY TOLD ME, "SHE HAD DOUBLE SHOT A FEW HOUSES DOWN FROM HERS(at her sons)BUT THAT HE WAS SO BAD, SHE DIDN'T WANT ME TO HATE HER"....WITH TOTAL DISBELIEF PLASTERED TO MY FACE(something she couldn't see over the phone) I TOLD HER WHATEVER SHE WANTED TO HEAR, IN ORDER TO GET HIM BACK.

FINALLY, MY DAUGHTER WENT BACK TO BETTY AND TIM'S. BETTY HAD DOUBLE SHOT(or what was left of him, he was so near death) IN THE BACK OF A VAN, OPENED THE DOOR AND AS WEAK AS MY BABY WAS, HE DRAGGED HIMSELF OUT OF IT, SMELLED THE AIR, SAW MY DAUGHTER AND ACTUALLY WITH A LIMPING RUN(of his very last ounce of strength) HE GOT INTO THE VAN WITH MY DAUGHTER AND JUST LAY DOWN AS THE REALIZATION OF RESCUE BECAME CLEAR TO HIM(we hadn't forgotten him after all, as he had to have known we were there getting the others earlier, then silence as everyone left, leaving him to think he had been forgotten for good), TO NOW, BACK INTO THE ARMS OF LOVE,PROTECTION AND SAFETY.

MY DAUGHTER TOLD ME,"SHE ASKED BETTY IF SHE WAS EVEN GOING TO SAY GOOD BYE TO HIM", AND WHEN BETTY LEANED INSIDE THE VAN TO PET HIM, DOUBLE SHOT ACTUALLY GROWLED AND TRIED TO BITE HER...SOMETHING THIS GENTLE GIANT WOULD NEVER DO EVEN AT THE POINT OF DEATH....THAT TOLD ME THE REST OF THE STORY IN A NUTSHELL.

WHEN THESE DOGS/PUPPIES LEFT HERE(ALMOST 2 YEARS AGO NOW) THEY HAD KNOWN NOTHING BAD IN THE WORLD AND WERE THE MOST LOVING,GENTLE BABIES OF THE BREED....NOW, THEY WERE AGGRESSIVE WITH EACH OTHER FOR NO OTHER REASON, THAN TO FIGHT TO SURVIVE AND GET THE SMALLEST CRUMBS OF FOOD, OR DIE.

YOU SEE, BETTY WOULD FEED ANY PREGNANT FEMALE, JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP HER BRED AND STRONG ENOUGH TO DELIVER A LITTER OF BABIES, ALL THE WHILE, THESE OTHER DOGS AND PUPPIES WERE LEFT TO WATCH, HELPLESSLY, AS SHE ATE AND THEY SLOWLY STARVED TO DEATH...THEY WERE EATING THEIR OWN FECES, SUCH WAS THEIR WILL TO LIVE, TO SURVIVE, TO GET BACK HOME.

I REALIZE I MAY BE RAMBLING ABOUT NOW, BUT HONESTLY, I'M STILL IN WORKING/SHOCK AS I UNRAVEL AND DISCOVER MORE OF THEIR HORROR STORIES...JENNIFER AND I BOTH, AS MOTHERS TO OUR CHILDREN AND FURRY CHILDREN HAVE RAN THINGS THROUGH OUR MINDS SINCE FINDING THIS OUT AND OTHER THAN HER NOT ALLOWING ANYONE INTO HER HOME OR AROUND HER DOGS(something that you don't do, when you have newborns,for fear of them catching a dreaded disease that will kill them) WE HAD NO HINTS OR CLUES TO THE EVIL THEY WERE CAPABLE OF AND BESTOWING UPON OUR BABIES.

DOUBLE SHOT,GARGOYLE(his grandson),CYCLOPS(came in with one eye and is the son of Brandy one of my girls),BRANDY(daughter of Bernadette Tigress and Sir Walters Hank), LITTLE BELLA(daughter of my NightStalkerXSamson XXXVI), Storm Kat(daughter of Queen Kussmaul X King Samuel I) ARE ALL BACK HOME WITH ME NOW, BUT 4 ARE STILL IN FL. AND EXPECTED TO BE HERE NEXT WEEK SOMETIME....

NOT ONE SINGLE DOG HAS ATTEMPTED TO BITE OR HARM ME IN ANYWAY, BUT FROM THE STARVATION THEY'VE SUFFERED, THEY ARE VERY FOOD AGGRESSIVE(if another dog walks by their pens) SOMETHING THAT IS TOTALLY NORMAL(in humans and dogs) WHEN YOU'VE BE TO THE BRINK OF DEATH FROM LACK OF FOOD OR WATER. CY(with one eye, due to their abuse) IS SCARED TO DEATH OF HIS OWN SHADOW BUT COMING AROUND, SLOWLY BUT SURELY. BRANDY, ONE OF THE MOST SEVERELY STARVED AND BEATEN, HAS GROWLED AT MIKE(my X) UNSURE OF HIS INTENT AT FIRST, BUT IS NOW, AFTER ALL SHE'S BEEN THROUGH, LICKING HIS HAND AND LETTING HIM AND MYSELF KNOW, SHE HAS FORGIVEN THE HUMAN RACE WITHOUT EVEN BEING ASKED..SUCH IS THE NATURE OF THESE WONDERFUL MASTIFFS.

I CAN PROMISE YOU ALL THIS: BEFORE YOU KNOW IT, THEY WILL BE BACK AND WHOLE AGAIN, BODY,MIND AND SOUL...THEY CAN'T HELP BUT BE, SUCH IS THE LOYALTY OF THE BREED AND THEIR LINES...

THE THANKS THOSE BIG BROWN EYES SHINE TOWARDS ANYONE THAT COMES AROUND, IS EVIDENCE OF THIS....YES, THEY WILL ALWAYS HAVE SCARS BUT THOSE TOO WILL FADE AS WILL THIS HORROR THEY HAVE SURVIVED....FOR THEY ARE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS,SAFE,FULL,NEEDS SEEN TO AND PROTECTED LIKE A MOTHER BEAR WITH HER YOUNG. THIS IS MY LIFE, MY LOVE AND CALLING...

THIS CHRISTMAS MIRACLE I HAVE BEEN GIVEN, RIPS AT THE VERY CENTER OF MY HEART AND I AM SO THANKFUL TO HAVE BEEN ONE OF THE LUCKY ONES( that found most of them alive and able to be saved)...NEVER AGAIN WILL ANYONE OF THESE BABIES SUFFER THIS FATE AGAIN.

MASTIFF: ARISTOCRATIC,PROUD,LOYAL,FAITHFUL,LOVING,PROTECTIVE,EXTREMELY INTELLIGENT,TENACIOUS WITH A WILL TO LIVE FOR THEIR FAMILIES EVEN UNDER THE MOST DIRE OF SITUATIONS, BARELY EVEN SCRATCHES THE SURFACE OF WHAT THEY ARE MADE OF AND WHO THEY ARE.

MY LIFE, MY HEART IS SO FULL RIGHT NOW WITH THANKFULNESS TO ALL THOSE WHO RESPONDED TO THE CALL FOR HELP. GOD BLESS EACH ONE OF YOU AND IF ANY OF YOU KNOW THE WHEREABOUTS OF THE REST OF THE FAMILY...PLEASE CONTACT ME OR JEN AND WE WILL PICK THEM UP
