Yes, that's correct....Miss Harley and the good LORD up above, decided her and Sumo's litter would not be her last...I couldn't argue that point without losing, especially since I was in hospital at the time of her, sneaky conception with Gen.Patton.
This is Patton's first litter of puppies and definitely Harley's last(her spay has already been scheduled)..Now to the great stuff: In this cross, you have the following: Double, Bernadette Tigress(which is also double Champion Gargoyle, Justamere,Banyons,Stonebrook,Southport,Greiner Hall,Greco and all of the other greats in Bernie's pedigree....Then, with Patton(son of King Ceasar, whose mother was also Bernadette Tigress. His father was none other than massive, Samson XXXVI) Old School,Semper Fi,Nightstalker and many more of the old greats. Patton's mother was the last CH.Sired daughter of my old CH.Spencer, so this cross has it all together and is an Exceptional Litter of pups.
Only 4 were whelped, so Harley is quitting with a perfect record of, 10 her first litter, 5 her second, 7 her third and now 4 her last, all live births, no stillborns, which is exceptional in itself.
SHE AND PATTON HAVE 2 GIRLS AND 2 BOYS...AND SINCE I HAVE SUMOLETA FOR SALE(Harley X Sumo ,Mar.litter) I will be keeping one of these girls to carry on for Harley and Bernadette(g-ma).
These puppies are massive with bone you normally would see on a 3-4 wk old puppy, instead of a newborn. Their heads are wide and blocky with wrinkles everywhere and they look like miniature bulls, their necks are so thick and stout. They are as wide as they are tall. lol And, I can't wait to see what they look like in another couple of weeks...Harley milks like a dairy cow and with only 4 puppies(and me starting them on baby cereal like always in the next week), they will be getting the best of both worlds and an enless supply of rich,fat milk and cereal from mom and me. I believe in giving all my babies the best possible start in life so from minute one(after birth), they are given all the necessary supplements(expensive, complete mixed Colostrum) in addition to moms(for the first 18 hours of life) then, left with mom to feed every 30 minutes to an hour on the hour,around the clock for the first week(beginning their baby cereal mixture at about 5 days of age, in a litter this small). They are loved and spoiled rotten from the start and I will have 2 for Sure, for sale in this last, fantastic litter.
1 male and 1 female will definitely be available, and a $250.00 deposit will hold either of them. These pups, due to their special bloodlines and cross(the end of Harley's line), will be a firm $1500 cash each, plus shipping/delivery or you may pick them up here.
This beautiful Silver/Fawn Female(Kordsmeiers SilverSassy Sumoleta) is the last female and is available at this time. She is the last of the only 2 Daughter's out of Kordsmeiers Silver Harley and Kordsmeiers Sumo Numero Uno(this is his first litter of Mastiffs).
Like their parents, they have the most laid back personalities and are very out going and friendly, even at this young age.( They are both, also fully house trained )!!! They get along well with most any animal species, Except Rodents....They love to chase and kill mice or field rats, when given the chance and do the job with the precision of a wolf pack(working together). lol These boys are going to be over 200 pounds(+) when mature with the mass and bone to match each pound...They are an example of the old style,typey Mastiff's of Old and if you're looking to improve your lines(mass,depth,bone,head) these boys will do it, as that is stamped into each of them, through the full/brother/sister cross of their parents, Kussy and Sam.
This litter was bred for a purpose and I am keeping 3 of them myself(2 boys and the only brindle girl), as the beginning of a new foundation of some of the best Mastiffs seen in a long,long time. They are solid,healthy lines from only the finest dogs and are able to do, exactly what they were bred to do. In all this time, I've never had one to come up lame, be it genetically or crippled due to work, exercise or just being a puppy/dog. That being said however, I have had young pups/dogs get sore, when they're in the middle of one of their growing spurts, but this too, goes away as soon as they level out . It has been my experience, that pups or young dogs that are going to be your largest Mastiff's, most all have (what we call) Growing Pains..At the time, if you've never seen it or heard them, it can be one of the most frightening things you've ever seen or heard from your baby, BUT, it is normal and something most all of us have seen or gone through and isn't going to kill them, like they make you think it is. lol In severe cases where the puppy/dog doesn't handle pain to well, I sometimes give Metcam orally, for the pain and any inflammation that may or maybe not accompany the growing pains.
NOTE: AS with anything in growing giant breed pups, IF, the pain is Severe(puppy/dog can't get up and screams like it's his/her last moment on earth) and it last more than a day or it gets to the point that your puppy/young dog quits eating,drinking and acting otherwise normal, Get them to the Vet for X-Rays or Ultra Sounds, to make sure, he/she hasn't been injured and damaged the growth plates(which is very serious and can affect them the rest of their lives) in addition to adding insult to injury of a growing puppy/dog in growing pains already.
Just for your information: Every single puppy that Kussmaul and Sambo had, has gone through some sort of growing pains, but none so severe as to warrant treatment of anything other than a baby asprin, every now and then or a good,soothing rub with race horse leg bracer. This means, all of them are going to be Huge dogs when grown(as I've seen this and went through this, many,many times before in the past, with my best pups and young dogs).
While on this subject, I feel the need to explain in detail a little bit more about these huge babies and growing pains....Contrary to popular belief or well intentioned breeder's, Growing Pains, are not mainly caused by over feeding your puppy...I have spent years of raising puppies and dogs and Never have I ever had one so over weight that it caused a problem with them...PLEASE, understand, that growing babies, Have to HAVE good, solid nutrition...All they can eat, whenever they want it, as well as plenty of Fresh Water at all times, in order to grow into adulthood without bone or muscle problems. Every single puppy I have ever raised, it allowed outside to be a puppy, as soon as possible(puppy vaccinations given before hand, for a total of at least 2, preferably 3, a Must, during hot,summer months, due to all the little nasties in the ground, just waiting on them). Like children, they have to be allowed to play in order to properly build good,strong muscles and bones(the foundation for these massive dogs) later in life. They play rough and rowdy but that's just part of the master plan...I don't allow the pups to play with older puppies or dogs that can injure and kill them,( by accident ), until they are at least 5 months of age and then, I watch them intently to make sure one is not over run. It is my Firm belief that a good,solid,well bred Mastiff shouldn't have to be kept inside like a china doll, to keep it sound...IF, that puppy can't be a puppy and play hard without fear of sever injury or being crippled,,,,what does that say about the bloodlines of that puppy or dog?
