Our History,we are located in the Great Lakes State,and as you know,we have a vast wilderness,filled with an abundance of hunting grounds,and their game.
Our Patterdale Terriers are bred for their heart,working ability,and intelligence.They are not bred for bolting,or baying,They are "Go in ,Take charge dogs".Many people,are concerned with breeding a "hand-spannable dog".We breed for their working abilities,so I don't know how big your hands are,or if they will span every dog that we breed,but,I do know if you are looking for an intense,working dog,out of good bloodlines,with a high prey-drive,then you should be satisfied.Our dogs are predominantly Booth & Nuttall lines,with some Gould,Doyle,and Parks,mixed in.Several of our dogs also have a considerable amount of "Lakeland Terrier"blood in them as well,coming through:Mason's"Arnie",our own J&J/Blackhole kennel's"Heidie",and Doyle's"Patty".Most are black,smooth coats.We occasionally have reds,black and tans,& chocolates and broken coats of these colors.We have also produced a very few blue,with the slate colored nose.Their color is secondary though,as they all are being bred for their working traits,not their color,or coat.Our stud dogs are registered with the PTCA,and pups that are sold will be up to date on their wormings and vaccinations.Our pups will have an accurate pedigree and breeder's signature.Our males will be at stud,however,call well in advance,because many times our dogs are loaned out to family and trusted friends,who hunt with them.-----------------------
Let me address a few things:
1:These are NOT mini-pitbulls,nor should be treated as such.They are a hunting terrier,bred towards that one goal alone....HUNTING!
2:We have not,and will not sell a dog to anyone that intends on using them for any purpose,other than that for which they are bred...HUNTING!
3:These are not a fighting type breed PERIOD!!They are bred & used for Vermin Control,and are usually hunted with other Patterdale Terriers.---------------------
