Valentia Golden Retrievers and Pugs
"Moses" is our first Golden, purchased from dear friends Pat and Keith Browne. Moses didn't enjoy the show ring, but excelled at stealing hearts. Moses has raised all the subsequent pups at Valentia - Goldens or Pugs..... showing them the secrets of playing stick, cuddling on the couch, and romping through the fields.
Moses reminds us daily that all work and no play is certainly NOT the Golden rule!
Moses started our Golden passion, and we furthered our learning through mentoring by Marilou and Al Cook - of Iron Gate Golden Retrievers of Colchester, CT. Many of our current dogs are co-owned and bred with Iron Gate.
We are members of the Golden Retriever Club of America, and have conducted home visits for Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue.
Simon is youngest pug, heating up the show ring whenever he's out!
